THE PROCESS
STEP 1: Eligibility Assessment & Documentation
We begin by confirming your eligibility based on government requirements.
You will be required to provide:
Proof of residency (for returning residents)
Identification documents (Passport, ID, KRA PIN)
Vehicle ownership history (where applicable)
Disability certification (if applicable)
Any supporting exemption documentation

STEP 2: Vehicle Selection & Requirements
Once eligibility is confirmed, we move to selecting the right car.

At the same time, we ensure the vehicle meets all Kenyan compliance requirements including standards set by the Kenya Bureau of Standards.
STEP 3: Costing & Engagement Deposit
Before we proceed with sourcing your car, we align on the numbers.
We provide a clear cost breakdown, including:
Vehicle cost
Shipping
Clearance and registration
Any applicable charges
Once everything is agreed, an engagement deposit is required to proceed.

STEP 4: Sourcing & Purchase Process
With everything aligned, our agents in Japan begin sourcing your vehicle.

You’ll be updated throughout, and once a suitable unit is secured, you’ll be notified immediately.
STEP 5: Pre-Export Inspection & Compliance
After a successful purchase:
The vehicle is transported to our export facility
A full mechanical inspection is conducted (engine, suspension, underbody)
Mileage is authenticated
If anything doesn’t meet our standards — we reject it.
The vehicle is then processed through a KEBS-approved inspection before shipment.
STEP 6: Shipment & Clearance
The vehicle is shipped to Kenya (typically 4–6 weeks).
Once it arrives:
Our Mombasa team handles full clearance through the Kenya Revenue Authority
Duty-free exemption is applied based on your approved documentation
Registration and compliance are completed
You don’t need to deal with the back-and-forth — we handle it all.
STEP 7: Delivery
Once the car arrives in Nairobi:
Final inspection and test drive are carried out
Any minor issues are fixed immediately
Full detailing and grooming is done
You’re welcome to bring your own mechanic for verification as well.
